Rocky Marquette grew up in Muskegon, Michigan. From an early age he knew he wanted to be an actor. This dream eventually led him to Los Angeles where his dreams quickly became a reality.
In the short time Rocky has been pursuing a professional acting career, he has quickly made a name for himself in the indie film scene. Rocky has starred in over 9 movies to date and has only been in the buisness for the last 5 years.  With casting directors and producers sparking an interest, Rocky is one of the new up and coming actors to keep a close eye on.

Time Line....

-Rocky was born in Michigan!  His mother was in labor for three days and finally on his due date, Rocky came into this beautiful world.

-Rocky went to Reeths-Puffer high school.  It was then he was bit with the acting bug.  Under the coaching of Gwen W. Nelson, Rocky began his training.  She pushed him hard to follow his dreams which lead to him to a Shakespeare Scholarship for Grand Valley State University.

-Rocky moved to Chicago after his studies at Grand Valley State University to try out the acting scene there.  This was a great experience for Rocky as he grew as a person and learned that his dreams would lead him to the west coast.

-Rocky sooned packed his bags and took a road tip out to California. 

-Soon after landing in Los Angeles Rocky booked his first lead role in a movie, SHALLOW GROUND.  "This movie will always be special to me because it was my first lead role in a film and when we started it we had no idea that it would take off like it did."

-"What makes me a better actor isn't sitting in an acting class in Los Angeles, it is getting out and seeing the world, meeting people and learning life lessons."  He was bit by the travel bug.  Rocky would soon start his adventures with a trip by himself backpacking through Ireland.  Many trips have followed.

-His proudest moment came when he found out he landed a movie that would shoot in South Africa.  "I have always wanted to go too South Africa.  It has been a dream of mine since I was a little kid. Not only that, it is a Vietnam War film!"


-Rocky's father, Roberto, fought in the Vietnam War as a United States Marine.  "I am so proud to do this movie.  It is a way for me to show my dad the respect I have for him."


-Rocky is one of Hollywood's new up and coming stars.  His work still continues to receive praise from critics all around.  He is one talent to be watching for.
