This real-life, run-down street was used as the seedy neighborhood of grown-up Little Marie and her son, Steps.
Not too long after the 2005 filming wrapped, the two houses to the right of Marie’s place were torn down. You can see in the movie that they’ve been burned out by fire and look pretty destroyed even on screen. Even the house to the left of Marie’s is now gone, though it looked like it was in rough shape on screen, too.
Marie’s little house – with its 100 watt lightbulb – is still standing.
